World Cup in diving 2006
The FINA Diving World Cup in 2006 was one of the FINA organized series of competitions in water jump , in from 19 to 23 July 2006 Changshu took place. A total of ten competitions were held, each for women and men individual competitions from the 1-meter and 3-meter board and from the 10-meter tower as well as synchronized competitions from the 3-meter board and 10-meter tower.
In the individual jumps from the 3-meter board and the 10-meter tower, a new mode was tried out that was previously only used on the 1-meter board in international competitions. There were two semi-finals after the preliminary battle, from which only the three best athletes qualified for the final. The competitions were dominated by the Chinese athletes who won all ten possible titles and a total of 15 medals. In total, athletes from seven countries were able to win medals.
