The Yanchep National Park is an Australian , was established in 1957 National Park 42 km north of Perth with an area of 28 square kilometers in Western Australia . The park is known for its caves, the native vegetation and the koala colony. Aborigines from the Noongar tribe still live in the national park . The national park is particularly well populated by locals on weekends. Various hikes and walks of various lengths are possible in the park. A lake for rowing and various streams are part of this small national park. The park is managed by the Department of Environment and Conservation .
