In 1872 the railway was built in the Wild Adler Valley, with a tunnel being driven through the mountain near Litice. The schoolhouse was inaugurated in 1897, before the children had started school in Bohousová. The village school there was overcrowded and in 1893 the only teacher taught 167 children, about half of whom came from both villages, in one room.
