history
Klösterle came into being at a crossing over the Wilde Adler and was first mentioned in 1273 with a monastery of the Knights of the Cross with the Red Heart , a medieval mendicant order. Both the monastery and the surrounding settlement were destroyed by the Hussites in 1421 . 1452–1453 the Holy Cross Church was built.
Politically, Klösterle belonged successively to the lords of Sandbach , Pottenstein and Senftenberg . 1830, the then landlord built John Parish of Senftenberg two kilometers northeast of Klosterle a castle in the Empire style , which served as a hunting lodge and in 1936 burned down. After the Second World War, the German residents were expelled . Klášterec nad Orlicí belonged to the Okres Žamberk and after its dissolution came to the Okres Ústí nad Orlicí .
