history

In 1951, the architect (ETH) Fred Achammer (1924–2015) opened an architecture office in Innsbruck that dealt with industrial and logistics buildings in German-speaking countries. In 1976, Fred Achammer, civil engineer Sigfrid Tritthart and mechanical engineer Gunther Fröhlich established a partnership with the aim of being able to offer integral planning as an overall planner based on the Anglo-American model. The office was subsequently called Achammer Tritthart Fröhlich (ATF), after the death of Gunther Fröhlich from 1986 AT Achammer Tritthart General Planner. In 1985 ATP expanded to Vienna. In 1987 Christoph M. Achammer succeeded his father and in 1989 became a partner in the field of architecture. ATP (Achammer Tritthart and Partner) had around 80 employees. The planning site in Munich was founded in 1989. Branches in Leipzig , Dresden and Prague followed . In 1999, ATP was converted into a stock corporation with around 250 employees.

In 2002, Christoph M. Achammer accepted the appointment as a university professor at the chair for industrial construction and interdisciplinary building planning at the Vienna University of Technology . In the same year, ATP established a planning site in Zagreb. In 2007, the Frankfurt office N + M architects (formerly Novotny Mähner) , active in high-rise and hospital construction, became a member of the ATP Group and with the merger in 2009 became the Frankfurt ATP location. In the course of the expansion of the partnership and the retirement of Sigfrid Tritthart, the office is called ATP architects engineers in 2008. In the following years the research companies ATP sphere and ATP sustain were established.

In 2010 ATP integrated the Zurich office kfp architekten ag, which specializes in residential construction . In 2011 a joint venture with Tsimailo Lyashenko & Partners Architectural Bureau (TLP) led to the establishment of a Moscow office. In 2012, ATP founded Foodfab GmbH, a consulting company for process planning in the food industry. ATP has been planning with Building Information Modeling (BIM) since the same year and is considered the innovation leader in German-speaking countries. In 2014, the partnership with the architects partner Frankfurt resulted in a planning company for the health system, ATP health. The BIM standard developed by ATP over several years was incorporated into the Austrian BIM standard that came into force in 2015 (ÖNORM A 6241). In 2016, five D&R studios were set up in Innsbruck, Vienna, Munich, Frankfurt and Zurich and Conviva GmbH - participatory and cooperative housing construction was founded.
