Allan Macqueen was an Australian manufacturer of engines and automobiles .

Company history

The South Melbourne company originally made engines. In 1913 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Macque . Automobile production ended in the same year. In total, only a few vehicles were sold.

The only model was a small car . A two - cylinder boxer engine with a displacement of 1137 cm³ propelled the vehicle. The engine was either air-cooled or water-cooled . The engine output of 10 hp was transmitted to the rear axle via a friction gear and belt. The wheelbase measured 265 cm.

A vehicle was used in a race.
