Robnell Sports Cars Pty Ltd was an Australian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Bayswater company began manufacturing automobiles in 1988 under the direction of Rob Darnell. The brand name was Robnell . Production ended in 2003.

A company of the same name was registered in Australia on January 25, 2013. The connection is unclear.

Replicas of the AC Cobra were on offer . The base was a lattice frame . An open two-seater body made of aramid or glass fiber reinforced plastic was mounted on top. Two different V8 engines from Ford have survived. The 302 had 4952 cm³ displacement with 281  hp (207 kW), while the 429 had 7035 cm³ displacement and 398 hp (286 kW). The curb weight was 1158 kg or 1250 kg, depending on the version. The transmission had five gears.
