Ziegler manufactured steam cars. He made many parts himself. The two-cylinder - steam engine developed 9 PS . The engine power was transferred via a chain to a counter shaft and from there via chains to each of the two rear wheels. The open body offered space for six people. The maximum speed was given as 32 km / h. The vehicles rolled on solid rubber tires.
Noteworthy is the use of a rear-view mirror , possibly for the first time in the history of the automobile . It was used to watch the water level indicator in the boiler, which was located under the back seat.
