Tilbrook Motorcycles was an Australian manufacturer of motorcycles .

Company history

Rex Tilbrook founded the company in Adelaide in 1950 and began producing motorcycles. The brand name was Tilbrook . Production ended in 1953. He also made an automobile in 1953 , which he presented and sold at the Adelaide Show .

Motorcycles with built-in engines from Villiers Ltd were on offer . There were smaller engines with 123 cm³ displacement and larger engines with 198 cm³ displacement. The smaller ones were also used in races.

Automobiles

The only vehicle was a tricycle. The base was a tubular frame. An aluminum body was mounted on top. A Villiers two-stroke engine with 197 cm³ displacement was mounted in the rear and propelled the vehicle. The transmission had four gears.
