Amelie Plaas-Link (born July 20, 1989 in Dortmund ) is a German actress .

Life

In 2008 Plaas-Link graduated from high school in Korntal-Münchingen , after having previously lived in Hanover , Schmallenberg ( Sauerland ) and São Paulo ( Brazil ). Throughout her school life she played and sang leading and ensemble roles in school theater groups and children's musicals.

After graduating from high school, she completed several internships at the theater, including at the Alten Schauspielhaus in Stuttgart, and took private acting lessons. At the same time, she began to gain film experience in short films and image films and danced at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart with the rock opera Der Fliegende Holländer . In the summer of 2009 she got her first television role in the ZDF theater channel's Spring Awakening production and stood in front of the camera alongside Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht and Justus von Dohnányi under the direction of Nuran David Calis .

Amelie Plaas-Link has lived in Berlin since summer 2010. From October 2010 to September 2011 she was in the main cast of the Sat.1 series Hand on Heart as “Lara Vogel”. Then she played u. a. a leading role in the episode on last track Berlin and was seen for the first time in the cinema in 2013 in a supporting role in David Wnendt's adaptation of the novel Feuchtgebiete . Since 2012, Plaas-Link has been speaking regularly for various cinema and TV productions. In 2013 she also stood in front of the camera with Jasna Fritzi Bauer and Heike Makatsch for the feature film About a Girl or played in the Stasi drama Between the Times alongside Sophie von Kessel and Benjamin Sadler . In 2014 she took on a leading role in the international crime series The Team and, together with Alexander Schubert, one of the two leading roles in the ZDF sitcom ... and then Paula . In 2015 and 2016 she was seen in the role of Jean Fordham alongside Annette Frier , Ursula Karusseit and Friederike Kempter in the play Eine Familie - August Osage County in the Theater am Kurfürstendamm . In 2017, the series Not to get dead started on RTL , in which Amelie Plaas-Link plays one of the leading roles as "Nina" alongside Jochen Busse and Caroline Frier .
