Artsiom Dsjamjanawitsch Dsjamkou ( Belarusian Арцём Дзям'янавіч Дзямкоў , Russian Артём Демьянович Демков / Artyom Demjanowitsch Demkow * 26. September 1989 in Minsk , Byelorussian SSR ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player who since October 2014 when HC Dinamo Minsk in the Kontinental Hockey League is under contract and plays parallel for HK Schachzjor Salihorsk in the Belarusian extra league.
Career
Arzjom Dsjamkou began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the HK Junost Minsk , for whose professional team he was active in the Belarusian extra league from 2006 to 2008 . Mainly, however, he was used for his second team HK Junior Minsk in the second division. The 2008/09 season spent the Belarusian junior international in the Canadian junior league QMJHL , in which he played for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles , who had drawn him 35th in the 1st round of the CHL Import Draft , and Acadie-Bathurst Titan stood on the ice. In the following year, the KHL Junior Draft led the winger back to his homeland, where he received a contract with HK Dinamo Minsk , which selected him as the 48th player in the third round, and for whom he was ranked 16th in the 2009/10 season Playing in the Continental Hockey League accrued, in which he gave a template and received two penalty minutes. He spent the following year and a half, however, with Minsk's farm team HK Shachzjor Salihorsk in the extra league. With this he became runner-up.
For the 2011/12 season Dsjamkou was signed by the Elmira Jackals from the ECHL . At the end of the 2012/13 season he was loaned to the Hamburg Freezers from the DEL , but then returned to the Jackals. During the following season he also received missions with the Albany Devils from the American Hockey League .
In July 2014 he returned to Europe and received a trial contract with HK Sochi , which was later extended until the end of the season. In October 2014 he was handed over to Dinamo Minsk, where he has since been used in parallel in the KHL and the Extraliga.
International
For Belarus, Djamkou took part in the junior division at the U18 World Junior Championship of the Top Division 2006 , the U18 Junior World Championship of Division I in 2007 , when the immediate promotion to the top division succeeded, as well as the U20 World Junior Championship of the division I participated in 2008 , when he became the tournament's top scorer and also had the best plus / minus record, and in 2009 .
At senior level he was at the World Championships in 2011 , 2013 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 in the line-up of his country .
