Bernhards is a village in Lower Austria and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Zwettl-Lower Austria . According to the 2001 census, the place had six inhabitants on an area of ​​0.67 km². Bernhards was first mentioned in a document in 1307. The name means something like: "Settlement of a man with the name Bernhard".

Bernhards is about 14 km west of the city of Zwettl. The closest public transport ( post buses ) are in neighboring Jagenbach . The municipality is bordered to the north cadastral Jagenbach, on the east by Purken , south and south-east of Lower Neustift and southwest and west by Wurmbrand (municipality Taferl) .
