The Roman Catholic Diocese of Bydgoszcz ( lat. : Dioecesis Bydgostiensis , Polish. : Diecezja Bydgoska ) is one in Poland situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Bydgoszcz ( German Bromberg ).

history
The Diocese of Bydgoszcz (German: Bromberg) was established on February 24, 2004 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Dilectorum Poloniae fidelium from cedings of the dioceses of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg and Pelplin and the Archdiocese of Gniezno and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Gniezno as a suffragan diocese.
First Bishop was January Tyrawa .
