The Bundestag constituency of Hildesheim (constituency 48) is an electoral district in Lower Saxony and includes the district of Hildesheim . Thanks to Ute Bertram , the constituency was won again by the CDU in the 2013 federal election for the first time since 1965 .

Bundestag election 2013

14 state lists were admitted to the election on September 22nd. Bernhard Brinkmann did not run again in the 2013 federal election. The CDU candidate, Eckart von Klaeden , also announced the withdrawal of his candidacy. Since it had already been nominated by the CDU, a new candidate had to be nominated.
