The Categoría Primera A 1960 was the thirteenth edition of the Colombian football championship . Santa Fe won the championship for the third time before América de Cali . The top scorer was the Argentinean Walter Marcolini from Deportivo Cali with 30 goals.

For the first time in the history of Colombian football, the same twelve teams participated as last year.

The champion qualified for the Copa Campeones de América in 1961 .
