The Centro Aquático de Deodoro ( Deodoro Water Sports Center ) is a swimming pool in the Deodoro Olympic Park in the Brazilian city ​​of Rio de Janeiro .

The swimming pool was built for the 2007 Pan American Games . On the occasion of the 2016 Summer Olympics , the sports facility was renovated for BR $ 4.4 million . In addition, a temporary grandstand with 2000 seats was built for the Rio Games. The reopening took place in March 2016 with a few test events. During the 2016 Olympic Games , the swimming competitions for the modern pentathlon took place here.
