China Open (9-Ball)
The China Open (official: China World 9-Ball Open ) are a year since 2009 in Shanghai in the People's Republic of China be transmitted snooker tournament in the discipline 9-Ball .

The men will initially play in the double knockout system , race to 9. As soon as there are only 32 players in the tournament, this will be continued in the knockout system with eleven breaks as the target.
The women will play in a double knockout system up to the round of 16. The goals are seven breaks in the double knockout rounds and nine breaks from the round of 16.
Prize money
The winner of the men's tournament will receive 40,000 US dollars . The total prize money paid out at the men's tournament was different for the individual tournaments. While $ 134,000 was gambled away in 2010, it was $ 195,200 in 2014.
The winner of the women's tournament has received US $ 30,000 since 2011, previously it was initially 25,000 and then 26,000 US dollars. A total of US $ 138,000 in prize money was distributed among the women in 2014, compared to only US $ 75,000 in 2009.
