Dario Đumić (born January 30, 1992 in Sarajevo , SR Bosnia and Herzegovina , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian - Danish football player . He is on loan from FC Utrecht to SV Darmstadt 98 .

Đumić, who grew up in Denmark , began playing football in the youth of Himmelev-Veddelev BK . About the youth of Hvidovre IF he moved in 2008 to the youth of the English club Norwich City ; whose professionals were previously relegated from the Football League Championship , the second English division. After a year Đumić rose to the professional squad, which had meanwhile been promoted back to the second division.

After half a year without a job he returned to Denmark and was active for the youth of Brøndby IF . In 2011 Đumić was promoted to the squad of the reserve team. From July 2011 he came to appearances for the professionals in the Superliga , the first Danish league. He made his professional debut on July 23, 2011 in a 1-0 win on the second match day of the 2011/12 season in the away game against Silkeborg IF . On December 4, 2011 Đumić succeeded in the 1-1 on 18th matchday in the away game against HB Køge with the goal in stoppage time to the final score his first first division goal. Đumić came this season to 14 missions and one goal and finished with the team at the end of the season in ninth place in the table. In the 2012/13 season he came to 21 missions and one goal. In the cup he reached the semi-finals with Brøndby IF and in the league again the ninth place in the table was occupied. In the 2013/14 season , the central defender was used in 24 games (one goal) in the league and in one game in the cup. In the league, Brøndby IF qualified fourth for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League , in which they were eliminated by Club Bruges . Đumić was used in the second leg. In the league he played in 26 games and finished third in the table with Brøndby IF. In the cup, he made two appearances until he was eliminated in the quarter-finals. Third in the final table , Brøndby IF took part in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League in the 2015/16 season and was eliminated in the play-offs against PAOK Saloniki . Đumić had come to six out of eight missions. He played seven times in the league and once in the cup.

During the winter break of the 2015/16 season he moved to NEC Nijmegen on loan to the Dutch Eredivisie . On January 22, 2016, he made his debut for the club in the 0-0 match on the 19th matchday in the away game against FC Groningen . On April 3, 2016, Đumić scored his first goal for NEC Nijmegen in a 2-1 win on matchday 29 in the game against Vitesse Arnheim with the goal to 2-0 in the 81st minute. He was used in all games until the end of the season. The NEC Nijmegen occupied tenth place in the table. For the new season he initially returned to Brøndby IF, but was signed by NEC Nijmegen a short time later. In the 2016/17 season he came to 34 appearances and four goals in regular league play and to a use in the KNVB-Beker , in which the club was eliminated in the first round. In the table, the NEC Nijmegen qualified for the promotion and relegation play-offs, in which they reached the final round and were relegated to the Jupiler League . Đumić was used in all four games.

In summer 2017 he moved to FC Utrecht and signed a contract that ran until 2019.

A year later, Đumić moved to Germany on loan for the 2018/19 season to the second division team Dynamo Dresden , who also secured a purchase option, which was not drawn after the end of the season. On the 1st matchday of the 2nd Bundesliga, August 6, 2018, he made his debut in a 1-0 home win against MSV Duisburg . He made his debut in the DFB Cup on August 18, 2018 in the 3-2 away defeat against SV Rödinghausen . He scored his debut goal for Dresden in the 2nd Bundesliga on September 14, 2018 in the 0-2 away win against SSV Jahn Regensburg .

Without returning to the Netherlands, the defender stayed in the second Bundesliga in summer 2019 and switched to SV Darmstadt 98 on loan for the following season . He made his debut for the club on July 28, 2019 in the 2nd Bundesliga in a 1-1 away game against Hamburger SV . He scored his debut goal for the club on October 15, 2019 in the 2nd Bundesliga in a 3-3 home game against 1. FC Nürnberg .

Bosnia Herzegovina

On March 28, 2017, he made his debut for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national team in a 2-1 win in the friendly against Albania in Elbasan . On October 7, 2017, he made his debut goal in the 3: 4 defeat in the World Cup qualification against the Belgian national football team .
