David Miesmer
David Miesmer (born January 19, 1983 in Graz ) is an Austrian actor and speaker.
Life
David Miesmer grew up in Heiligenkreuz am Waasen in Styria . From 1993 to 2001 he attended the Bundesrealgymnasium in Graz . He completed his school career with the Matura . He made his first acting experience as a psychologist Dr. Chapman in the play cash from Michael Cooney with the amateur theater group "grain of sand".
From 2004 to 2009 he studied acting at the Vienna Conservatory, private university ; his teachers there included the castle actors Dorothee Hartinger and Roland Koch . Since graduating, he has worked as a freelance actor for film, television and theater.
He gained his first professional theater experience in 2007 with his diploma production as Ferdinand in Friedrich Schiller's tragedy Kabale und Liebe directed by Jan Oberndorff at the OFF-Theater in Vienna . In 2008 an engagement at the StadtTheater walfischgasse followed in the theater production Shakespeare black and white, in a Shakespeare collage for children, in which scenes with original texts from the Shakespeare plays A Midsummer Night's Dream and A Winter's Tale were combined. Miesmer played the roles of King Leontes, the lover Demetrius and an old shepherd. In 2010 he took on several roles in the production of Kaspar Hauser - Seelenleben eines Menschen in the off-theater production of the ensemble “Theater ohne Furcht und Blame” . At the summer theater festival in the Meierei Gaaden in July 2010, he played the Shakespeare play What you want, the ship's captain Antonio, the cavalier Curio and the fool. In October 2016 he returned to the theater stage after almost 5 years of abstinence; in the Austrian folk play Der Bockerer he appeared at the Schaubühne Vienna as SS leader Gstettner.
David Miesmer has also played film and television roles since 2008. In 2008 he had a leading role in the episode as Stefan Schober in the ORF crime series SOKO Donau, directed by Erwin Keusch . He played in sequence Crashed as one of the two brothers Schober a suspect who had threatened the murder victim shortly before his death palpable. He also had a smaller role in 2009 in the two-part television film Aufschneider with Josef Hader . In 2010 he shot the crime scene crime thriller Retaliation , in which he played the role of the youngster Leander Fröhlich; he played the friend of the character Claudia Eisner. In the Austrian television series CopStories , Miesmer took over the leading role of the "Duty Inspector" and department inspector Florian Fehenberger from 2013. Miesmer had other episode roles, including a. in the television series Schnell determined (2013; as Mario Neubauer), Heiter bis tödlich: Alles Klara (2013; as Federico Mazzini, the nephew of the pizza parlor owner Paolo Mazzini) and SOKO Vienna (2014; as Andreas Reitinger, the grandson of the murder victim).
In March 2015 he was seen as fiance Tommi in the Sat.1 television film Hangover in High Heels . He played the future groom of a budding lawyer. Miesmer also had a supporting role in the “black” comedy Beware of People (2015), in which Charly Hübner and Michael Maertens were his partners. In 2016, he won the Shocking Shorts Award in the role of ski instructor Max in the film Pistenauber , directed by Korbinian Dufter . In April 2018 Miesmer was seen in the Austrian crime series SOKO Kitzbühel in an episode role as the paraplegic sports activist Tim Weixler. In the hospital series In all Friendship - The Nurses (broadcast: from November 2018), an offshoot of the series In All Friendship and In All Friendship - The Young Doctors , Miesmer played one of the episode roles as intensive care patient Carsten Bensch, who cheats on his wife with his lover . In the 11th season of the TV series SOKO Vienna (2019), Miesmer again took on one of the main episode roles, this time as village mayor Martin Kleeberg. In the sixth season of the ZDF “Herzkino” television series Lena Lorenz (2020), Miesmer plays the young farmer and father-to-be Marinus, whose child dies in the womb, in a dramatic leading role in the episode.
Miesmer also works extensively as a speaker. In 2008 he spoke the main role of Pavel in the two-part radio play Das Gemeindekind based on the novel by Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach in a co-production of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation and the Central German Broadcasting Corporation . In 2013 he spoke three different commercials for the automobile manufacturer Ford , two of them with a distinctive high-pitched voice. In 2014 he spoke in German and English for an advertisement for the Austrian Airlines product “Austrian Tascherl” . Miesmer has also worked several times as an advertising actor, including in commercials for the mobile phone brands Hutchison Drei Austria and A1 of Mobilkom Austria and for Wiener Linien .
Miesmer lives in Vienna and Styria.
