Doc Blanchard

Doc Blanchard (actually Felix Anthony Blanchard ; * 11. December 1924 in McColl , South Carolina ; † 19th April 2009 in Bulverde , Texas ) was an American American football poker players on the position of the full backs . He played for the US Army team . Together with Glenn Davis ("Mr. Outside") Blanchard ("Mr. Inside") formed the backbone of the Army team, which won three championships in a row from 1944 to 1946. In 1945 Blanchard was awarded the Heisman Trophy . He has been a member of the College Football Hall of Fame since 1959 .
