Ehrentalsmühle was a village in the municipality of Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms the southern part of Ehrenhausen .

location

Ehrentalsmühle is located on the Leuscheid in the valley of the Irsenbach . In addition to Dahlhausen in the north, neighboring towns are : Ückertseifen in the south-east and Röhrigshof in the north-west. Ehrenhausen is on Landesstrasse 312 .

history

It was named after a water mill in the Ährental valley . The village belonged to the parish of Leuscheid and at times to the mayor's office of Herchen .

In 1830 Mühl had 43 residents.

In 1845 the hamlet had 58 inhabitants in 13 houses. 8 of them were Catholic, 47 Protestant and 3 Jewish.

In 1888 Ehrentalsmühle had 76 residents in 19 houses.

In 1962 127 people lived here and in 1976 125 people.
