Feleacu ( German Fleck , Hungarian Erdőfelek ) is a municipality on a mountain range of the same name in Romania , Transylvania . It is located in the Cluj district, south of the city of Cluj-Napoca ( Klausenburg ). From the hills of the village there is a beautiful panoramic view of Cluj-Napoca. The summit of the ridge is more than 700 meters high.
history
It was first mentioned in a document in 1367. In the 14th to 15th centuries, a metropolis of the Romanian Orthodox Church was founded in Feleacu by the Ecumenical Patriarchate in recognition of already existing church structures .
