In the quarter-final against England , two of the most legendary goals in the history of the World Cup were scored within four minutes . Maradona scored the 1-0 by hand and the referee had overlooked it. After the game, Maradona commented on the goal with the words of the hand of God . He scored the second goal after a 60 m solo over half the pitch. In 2002 this goal was voted World Cup goal of the century by FIFA .
