The German Open 2013 (officially the International Badminton Championships of Germany - YONEX German Open Badminton Championships ) in badminton took place for the 56th time in the RWE sports hall in Mülheim an der Ruhr from February 26 to March 3, 2013. The prize money was US $ 120,000, placing the tournament in the BWF World Grand Prix Gold category. The host was 1. BV Mülheim an der Ruhr , the main sponsor was Yonex , and Mülheim's mayor Dagmar Mühlenfeld took over the patronage .
