Gornosavodsk ( Russian Горнозаводск ) is a city in the Perm region ( Russia ) with 12,057 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The city is located on the western flank of the Middle Urals about 190 km northeast of the regional capital Perm on the watershed between Koiwa and Wischai in the river system of the Kama . Gornozavodsk is the easternmost city in the region.
Gornozavodsk is the administrative center of the raion of the same name .
The city lies on the railway line Permian chusovoy - Kushva - Yekaterinburg (Station Paschija ).
history
A settlement at the Paschija train station was created in 1947 in connection with the construction of a cement works , received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1950 under the name Novopaschijski and in 1965 under the current name of town charter.

Culture and sights
There has been a local museum in Gornozavodsk since 1967.
In the area there are natural beauties, like rocks on the shore of the Chusovaya , karst caves ( Paschijskaja 520 meters and length. A.) And the mineral reserves in Saranowskoje (here z. B. the relatively rare gemstone was Uwarowit first described).
economy
The most important company is the cement works ( Gornosawodskzement ), as well as an important gravel quarry and a machine factory for forestry equipment. A natural gas pipeline from Western Siberia to Europe (pumping station) runs through Gornosavodsk .
