The Hassell National Park (English Hassell National Park ) is a 13 square kilometer national park in the south of Western Australia , Australia . It is located about 400 kilometers southeast of Perth and 40 kilometers northeast of Albany . As a narrow strip, it runs for a length of 20 kilometers on both sides of the South Coast Highway .

The vegetation, characterized by sandy, nutrient-poor soils, consists mainly of heather scrub and mallee bushes .
