The Hessenpokal 2015/16 was the 71st staging of the men's soccer cup competition. The winner was eligible to start the first main round of the DFB Cup of the 2016/17 season . The final was played on May 4, 2016 in Haiger on the TSV Steinbach pitch , Kickers Offenbach defeated SV Wehen Wiesbaden 2-1.

Participating teams

For the round of 16 were SV Wehen Wiesbaden ( 3rd league ), Kickers Offenbach ( Regionalliga Südwest ), KSV Hessen Kassel (Regionalliga Südwest), KSV Baunatal (relegated from Regionalliga Südwest), TSV Steinbach ( 1st place Hessenliga 14/15 ), TSV Lehnerz (2nd place Hessenliga 14/15) and SG Oberliederbach (Association League Middle) and TSV / FC Korbach (Association League North) qualified as winners of the fair play rating of the association game classes.
