IC 276 is a lens-shaped galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is an estimated 129 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies NGC 1150 , NGC 1151 , NGC 1157 , IC 1866 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 14, 1892 .
