Jürgen Rothert
Jürgen Rothert (* 1936 ; † October 2007 in Berlin ) was a German actor , dubbing and radio play speaker .
Life
From 1959 to 1962, Jürgen Rothert studied acting at the State Drama School in Berlin . After several years at the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin , he had an engagement at the Berliner Volksbühne from 1975 until his death in 2007 . He was one of those who could not be dismissed when Frank Castorf took over as general manager, because he had protection against dismissal after fifteen years of service.
Jürgen Rothert lived with the actress Susanne Düllmann . In 2007 he committed suicide because of a serious illness that would have made him a long-term care provider . At his own request, he was buried in an anonymous grave in Berlin-Köpenick .
