Josh Kline (* 29. December 1989 in Hoffman Estates , Illinois ) is an American American Footballer in the National Football League (NFL), who is currently a free agent is. He last played for the Minnesota Vikings as an offensive guard , previously he was under contract with the Tennessee Titans . With the New England Patriots he was able to win the Super Bowl XLIX .
college
Kline, who showed early athletic talent and also wrestled in high school , attended Kent State University and successfully played college football for their team, the Golden Flashes . He played a total of 50 games.
NFL
New England Patriots
In the NFL Draft in 2013 he was not taken, but was then of the New England Patriots as a free agent under contract. In his rookie season he was initially a member of the Practice Squad , after several injuries in the team he was used in 7 games, one of them as a starter , where he held different positions on the offensive line .
In 2014 he played both as a right and left offensive guard , also in the play-offs . In the Super Bowl XLIX , which the Patriots could win against the Seattle Seahawks , he did not play. Tennessee Titans
On September 8, 2016, Kline signed a contract with the Tennessee Titans . He had to pass the first two games, but then he was used as a right offensive guard in all games.
Minnesota Vikings
On 20 March 2019 he endowed the Minnesota Vikings with a three-year contract with a total of 15.75 million US dollars from. On March 18, 2020, Kline was released from the Vikings.
