Dominique Easley (* 28. April 1992 in Staten Iceland , New York ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the defensive ends . He played for the New England Patriots in the National Football League (NFL) from 2014 to 2015 . Most recently he was under contract with the Los Angeles Rams .

Early years

Easley went to high school on Staten Island, New York. He later went to the University of Florida , where he played for the college football team from 2010 to 2013.

NFL

New England Patriots

Easley was selected 29th in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots . He got a four-year contract. On September 7, 2014 Easley played his first professional game in the 33-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins . A game day later, he scored his first interception in the 30-7 win over Minnesota Vikings . On December 17, 2014, the Patriots put him on the injured list . The Patriots won Super Bowl XLIX 28-24 against the Seattle Seahawks with no Easley in the squad. In 2015 , Easley began as a defensive tackle . On December 15, he was put on the injured list again, where he stayed until the end of the season. On April 13, 2016, he was released by the Patriots.

Los Angeles Rams

On May 17, 2016, Easley signed an annual contract with the Los Angeles Rams . In his first season he completed all 16 games for the Rams. On May 4, 2017, he extended for one year with the Rams. In preparation for the 2017 season, Easley tore a cruciate ligament , which is why he was placed on the Injured Reserve List and should miss the entire season. A season later, on October 3, he was put on the Injured Reserve List because of another knee injury. The Rams reached Super Bowl LII , but it was lost to Easley's previous team, the New England Patriots.

Personal

Easley's mother is of Haitian descent. On March 13, 2015, he announced on Twitter that he had converted to Islam .
