Logan Daniel Ryan (* 9. February 1991 in Berlin , New Jersey ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Tennessee Titans as cornerback . With the New England Patriots he could win the Super Bowl twice .

college

Ryan attended Rutgers University and played college football for their team, the Scarlet Knights . In 37 games he was able to set a total of 170 tackles , defend 39 passes and achieve seven interceptions .

Ryan was selected 83rd overall by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft . He made it into the team, and in his rookie season he was already running in all games, seven times as a starter . He scored his first touchdown in the game against the New York Jets .

In 2014 he was able to win the Super Bowl XLIX with the Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks . From season to season he got more playing time until he finally ran up as a right starting cornerback in Super Bowl LI , which was also won against the Atlanta Falcons .

Tennessee Titans

In March 2017, he signed a three-year deal with the Tennessee Titans for $ 30 million.

On January 4, he secured the Titans victory in the wild card round with his former team, the New England Patriots. The Titans were leading 14:13 at halftime, neither team scored more points until Ryan intercepted a deflected pass from Tom Brady shortly before the end of the game and carried 9 yards to the touchdown for a 20:13 away win. The throw from his own 1-yard line was Brady's last attempt to pass the Patriots.
