Career

At the age of 16 he finally moved to Norwegian record champions Vålerenga Oslo in 2005 , with whom he won the championship title straight away in 2006 . During his two years at Vålerenga, he also completed a few missions for the club's second team. In the summer of 2008 the striker changed clubs again. For two years he played for the Frisk Tigers in the GET-ligaen , but without celebrating any further successes.
The Norwegian finally moved abroad for the 2010/11 season. With Leksands IF he was active in the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan and Kvalserien .
In 2013 he moved from the Swedish club BIK Karlskoga to Germany for the Düsseldorfer EG . At DEG it was symbolic of the club's upswing from 2014 at the latest. In a total of 159 games he scored 131 points (44 goals, 87 assists). In 2015 he reached the semi-finals with his team, and in 2016 the quarter-finals. He also played six games in the Champions Hockey League for DEG (three assists). In 2016 he moved to the Linköping Hockey Club in Sweden to the SHL , also because he was able to play with his brother Mathis there. For the team from southern Sweden, Olimb completed exactly 100 games in which he got 58 points.
As from 2013 to 2016, Olimb will be under contract with the German first division club Düsseldorfer EG from the 2018/19 season and signed a contract there for an initial period of 3 years.
