Kericho County (until 2010 Kericho District ) is a county in Kenya . The capital of the county is Kericho . In 2019, the county lived 901,777 people on 2,454.5 km². In Kericho County, tea is mainly grown. Kericho is the center of the most important tea growing area in Kenya. Kericho County is home to the Kipsigis , who are part of the Kalendjin people .
