The men's 1500-meter run at the 1950 European Athletics Championships was held on August 24 and 27, 1950 in the Heysel Stadium in the Belgian capital, Brussels .
European champion was Willem Slijkhuis from the Netherlands . Second place went to the Frenchman Patrick El Mabrouk . The Briton Bill Nankeville won the bronze medal.
