The shot put women at the 1954 European Athletics Championships was 26 August 1954 at the Stadium Neufeld in Bern held.

In this competition there was a triple victory for the Soviet Union. The European champion was the 1952 Olympic champion Galina Sybina . She won ahead of Maria Kuznetsova. Bronze went to the Olympic gold medalist from 1952 and Olympic champion from 1956 Tamara Tyschkewitsch .
