The women's 4-by-100-meter relay at the European Athletics Championships in 1969 was held on September 19 and 20, 1969 in the Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens .
The European champions were the runners from the GDR in the line-up of Regina Höfer , Renate Meißner , Bärbel Podeswa and Petra Vogt . Second place went to the Federal Republic of Germany with Bärbel Hähnle , Jutta Stöck , Rita Jahn and Ingrid Becker . Bronze went to Great Britain ( Anita Neil , Denise Ramsden , Sheila Cooper, Val Peat ).
