The women's 5,000-meter run at the 2019 World Athletics Championships took place in Doha , Qatar on October 2nd and 5th, 2019 .
29 athletes from 18 countries took part in the competition. Hellen Obiri won the gold medal with a new championship record of 14: 26.72 min, silver went to Margaret Chelimo Kipkemboi with 14: 27.49 min and the bronze medal went to Konstanze Klosterhalfen with 14: 28.43 min.
