mode
The game mode of performance class A provides for a qualification consisting of round-trip rounds as well as play-offs (best-of-five) and play-outs. The round trip consists of 10 games per team. Before the second half of the season, the points collected are halved. After the qualification, the teams in ranks 1-4 play in the play-offs for the Swiss championship title, while the teams in fifth and sixth place in a best-of-five series determine the participant in the relegation against the winner of the LKB .
Class A games are scored according to the three-point rule : three points are awarded for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime or a penalty shoot-out, one point for a defeat after overtime or a penalty shoot-out and one point for a defeat regular playing time zero points.
