- Seuffert was made an honorary citizen in consideration of his excellent work as a member and board member of the judicial authority through prudent promotion of justice, through mutually courteous humanity towards the citizens and residents, and through unmistakable, benevolent striving for their welfare.

- Awarded on December 24, 1873
- Ambach received honorary citizenship for 25 years of uninterrupted support in the functions of a civil magistrate council and guardianship council and treasurer for poor relief.

Friedrich Stein (* 1820; † 1905)
- Advocate and attorney, royal judiciary
- Awarded on January 9, 1890
- With the appointment as an honorary citizen, the city of Schweinfurt thanked Stein for his successful contribution to the creation of the Rückert monument and his meritorious work in the area of the history of the city. In addition, his many years of zealous and dutiful work as the first board member of the community college was recognized.

- The city thanked (historically incorrect) Bismarck with the award of his far-sighted gaze, which in July 1866, in the course of the German War, saved the city from imminent danger in extreme danger.

- Awarded on November 21, 1927
- Sachs was honored on the occasion of his 60th birthday. This honored his services to the expansion of the ball bearing industry and his generous foundations for the construction of an indoor swimming pool.

- Awarded on July 20, 1936
- On the occasion of his 40th birthday, Sachs was honored for his extraordinary services to the city, in particular through the foundation of the Willy Sachs Stadium.

Georg Schäfer (II) (born September 7, 1896 in Schweinfurt, † January 27, 1975 in Erlangen)
- Industrialist, partner of the company FAG Kugelfischer Georg Schäfer & Co.
- Awarded on December 22, 1952
- Both were honored in recognition of their extraordinary services that they achieved after the end of the war by rebuilding their destroyed companies. In doing so, they secured the re-employment of thousands of workers. They resumed social services and promoted social housing.

Georg Wichtermann (* 1909; † 1997)

- Awarded on March 23, 1974
- Wichtermann was initially a member of the city council from 1946 to 1952 and then deputy mayor until 1956. From 1956 to 1974 he directed the fortunes of the city as Lord Mayor. In his over 30-year tenure as a local politician, he resolutely continued the development phase initiated after the end of the Second World War and brought the city to flourish in many areas of economic, social and cultural life.

- Awarded on December 18, 1975
- Baumbach was the first woman to be made an honorary citizen. After the end of the war, she provided valuable help in public welfare. We owe the construction of various social institutions, such as the old people's home and youth recreation centers, to their initiative. Baumbach was a member of the Schweinfurt city council from 1946 to 1972.

- Schäfer is among other things co-founder of the "Sammlung-Dr.-Georg-Schäfer-Stiftung . It is thanks to him that the unique collection of paintings put together by his father Georg Schäfer (II) was kept in Schweinfurt and made accessible to the public.
