List of geotopes in the district of Kronach
This list contains the geotopes of the Upper Franconian district of Kronach in Bavaria . The list contains the official names and numbers of the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU) as well as their geographical location. This list may not be complete. Around 3,400 geotopes (as of March 2020) are recorded in the Bavarian geotope register. The LfU does not consider some geotopes suitable for publication on the Internet. For example, some objects are not safely accessible or may only be entered to a limited extent for other reasons.

Franconian Forest | From 1407 to 1918, with several interruptions, a silver-bearing galena was mined under various names (most recently as Carls-Zeche) on the Silberberg near Wallenfels. The ore was bound to a hydrothermal quartz vein and also contained zinc blende and pyrite (sometimes beautiful pentagon dodecahedra). Lime tuber slate with sliding folds and colorful Upper Devonian clay slate stand in the vicinity of the closed mouth hole. The right, barred tunnel is a bat winter quarters, the left tunnel is broken directly behind the mouth hole. | 60 20 × 3 |

Franconian Forest | By digging in 2005, two tunnel mouth holes of the former Adam-Friedrich-Grube coal mine were exposed again on the site of the building yard. A coal seam up to 70 cm thick can be seen in the outcrop wall with its reddish greywacke.
