List of world champions in cycling ball

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of world champions in cycling shows all the winners as well as the second and third placed at the cycling world championships. The world championship has been held annually since 1930. Before that there were European championships for three years, which are not listed here.

As in the other UCI World Championships , the participants in the World Cycling Championships compete for their national cycling association. Only one team is allowed per association. In 1930 the only exception was two German teams. The winner of the world championship has the right or the duty to wear the " rainbow jersey" for one year at all official tournaments .

The record winners are the Pospíšil brothers from Czechoslovakia with 20 titles.
