MLB Draft 2009

The 2009 MLB Draft , the Entry Draft of Major League Baseball, took place June 9-11, 2009 at the MLB Network Studios in New York City. Stephen Strasburg was chosen as the first player of the Washington Nationals. The draft order is based on the rankings of the MLB season 2008 , with the worst team being allowed to vote first.
