Marigny-le-Châtel is about 15 kilometers northwest of Troyes on the Ardusson . Marigny-le-Châtel is surrounded by the neighboring communities Ossey-les-Trois-Maisons in the north, Saint-Flavy in the east, Prunay-Belleville in the southeast, Saint-Lupien in the south, Avon-la-Pèze in the southwest, Rigny-la- Nun in the west and Saint-Martin-de-Bossenay in the northwest.
