Matthias Buse (born March 3, 1959 in Zittau ) is a former German ski jumper . He belonged to the SC Dynamo Klingenthal .

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1978 he was world champion on the normal hill. At the world championship in team jumping in Engelberg in 1984 , he won the silver medal with the GDR team. At the Four Hills Tournament 1977/78 he was also second. Buse took part in the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo and finished 21st on the large hill.

Buse was Vice President of the VSC Klingenthal from 2003 to 2006. He is also the ski jump warden in the Vogtland Arena .
