The McLaren MP4-21 was the Formula 1 - racing cars of McLaren Racing for the Formula 1 2006 World Cup .
The car, designed by Adrian Newey and Tim Goss , took part in all 18 races of the 2006 Formula 1 World Championship, was driven by the Finn Kimi Räikkönen , the Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya and the Spaniard Pedro de la Rosa and drove four second runners as the best results Places out (Raikkonen at the Australian Grand Prix and Italian Grand Prix , Montoya at the Monaco Grand Prix and de la Rosa at the Hungarian Grand Prix ), making the team in its 38th season the constructors' championship with 110 points in third place of eleven finished.
The V8 engine FO108S developed by Mercedes-Benz was used. The tires came from Michelin .
