Ministry of Economy and Industry (Israel)

The Ministry of Economy and Industry (he: משרד הכלכלה והתעשייה; Misrad haKalkala wehaTa'assija ) is an Israeli ministry. The current Minister for Economy and Industry is Amir Peretz ( Awoda ).

First Ministry of Trade and Industry (1948–1977), then Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism (1977–1981), then Ministry of Industry and Trade (1981–2003) and Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor (he: מִשְׂרָד התַּעֲשִׂיָּה , המִסְחָר והתַּעֲסוּקָה; Misrad haTa'assija, haMis'char we_haTa'assuka ; abbreviated: משרד התמ"ת), later Ministry of Economy and Trade (he: מִשְׂרָד הכלכלה והמִסְחָר; Misrad haKalkala we_haMis'char ).
