- Ludwig van Beethoven : 7th String Quartet op. F major op. 59.1; 8th String Quartet in E minor, Op. 59.2; 9th String Quartet, Op. C major, Op. 59.3; Violin Concerto in D major op. 61. In addition, the composer finishes work on his 4th symphony , which, however, will not be premiered until next year.
