NGC 1202 is a spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 398 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The property was discovered by Ormond Stone in 1886 .
