National Highway 8 ( NH 8 ) is a major highway in western India with a length of 1,375 kilometers. It runs through the states of Delhi , Haryana , Rajasthan , Gujarat and Maharashtra and connects the Indian capital New Delhi with the financial metropolis Mumbai .
The section in Gujarat from Ahmedabad to Vadodara is known as National Expressway 1 .
National Highways Development Project
- Almost the entire length of the NH 8 was selected by the National Highways Development Project as part of the Golden Quadrilateral .
